GEL and PCR purification kit

Gel Extraction and PCR Purification Kit designed by FAVORGEN enables the extraction and purification of DNA fragments from agarose gels or the direct purification of PCR products. It eliminates the need for using two separate kits.

The kit offers a precise, fast, and efficient method for DNA purification and the removal of contaminants from PCR reaction mixtures and agarose gels (TAE and TBE).

With this kit, salts, enzymes, and unincorporated nucleotides can be effectively removed without the need for phenol extraction or ethanol precipitation.

The purified DNA is suitable for various downstream molecular applications such as sequencing, transformation, or enzymatic digestion.

Gel Extraction and PCR Purification Kit employs a simple procedure using a silica-based spin column to purify DNA fragments ranging from 65 bp to 10 kbp, with high recovery rates. Typically, it provides a recovery of 70–85% from gel extractions and 90–95% from PCR products.
The entire process can be completed in 20 minutes.
