Betaine Monohydrate

Betaine is a quaternary ammonium alkaloid, which is widely used in food, medicine, daily chemical, printing and dyeing, chemical industry, fermentation and other fields.  It distributed widely in animals, plants, and microorganisms. Betaine also is used as a moisturizer and stabilizer in skin care formulations and increases the water solubility of active compounds. In molecular biology betaine  is suitable for use to improve the PCR amplification by reducing the formation of secondary structure caused by GC-rich regions
