YTA DNA Safe Stain

Features :

  • Use in the same way as EthBr in agarose gel electrophoresis
  • Detection of DNA and RNA
  • Easy to handle
  • Non-carcinogenic
Description

DNA Safe Stain is a new nucleic acid stain for visualization of nucleic acid in agarose gels. unlike Ethidium Bromide, YTA safe stain has been engineered to be less mutagenic than Ethidium Bromide, making it much safer to use. This new stain has two fluorescence excitation maxima when bound to nucleic acid, one centered at 268 nm and another at 294 nm. In addition, it has one visible excitation at 491 nm. The Fluorescence emission of YTA safe stain bound to DNA is centered at 530 nm.

Specification :

  • Excitation maximum, nm: ≈ 490 nm
  • Emission maximum, nm: ≈530 nm

Storage :

  • Store at 4°C for 2 years
